"Through," Not Engulfed
Rev.
Paulette Polo |
"When you pass through
the waters,
I will be with you;
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze" -
Isaiah 43:2
There is No Bridge: we must go
through the waters & feel the rush of the rivers.
The presence of God in the flood is better than a ferryboat.
We will be Tried, but we shall be Triumphant; because
Jehovah is mightier than the waters, & greater than the
flood. The only flood we shall experience is "The Spirit of
the Lord". For when the enemy comes rushing in, “Like
a Flood” the Spirit of the Lord will raise a up a
Standard against him and drive him away.
Isaiah. 59:19 (Paraphrased)
When the sorrows of life rise to extraordinary heights, the
Lord is greater then every occasion.
The enemy can put in our way dangers of all sorts
persecutions, mocking and rejection, which at times can feel
like a burning, fiery furnace. But we shall walk through the
fires [not cross over]; because God is with us, we shall not
be burned; nor shall the smell of fire remain upon us.
Floods cannot drown us, and fires will not burn us. The
presence, of the Lord, is our protection in perilous times.
Therefore by Faith our Spirit can enter into His rest.
