Prayer
needs to be an essential part of each of our lives. Many
times we become lazy in our commitment to the Lord concerning our
prayer time and whether we realize it or not, we are opening a
door for the enemy to attack our life either spiritually or
physically. It is important that we never forget that God is
the sustainer of our lives and as such we are to continually be in
communication with Him.
Never believe the lie that prayer doesn't work.
The devil knows the power that each believer possesses in prayer
and he tries everything he knows to keep us from bending our knee
and spending time alone with the Lord. I encourage you to
never become lazy in your prayers. Prayer is our
greatest power in life and so when the tough times come as they
always do, the committed prayer warrior will be well able to
handle every situation that comes their way. (Jeremiah 29:11-14)
This is a great and simple story that shows the blessings that are
received when a person is dedicated and continuous in prayer.
I hope that you are inspired by this simple message to make prayer
an embedded part of your life.
TROUSERS
Two pastor's wives sat mending their husbands' pants.
One of them said to the other, “My poor John, he is so
discouraged in his church work. He said just the other day
he was considering resigning. It seems that nothing
goes right for him.”
The other replied, “Why, my husband was saying just the
opposite. He is so enthused, it seems like the Lord is
closer to him than ever before.”
A hushed silence fell as they continued to mend the trousers; One
Patching The Knees And The Other The Seat.

Let this story be an encouragement to you to never faint in your
prayers. If you become lazy in anything else, never let it be your
prayer time. The Bible says that we are to pray without
ceasing, meaning that we are to continually be in communication
with the Lord. Jesus never said, “If you pray...”, but
He said many times, “When you pray...” It is a
requirement from the Lord that we are to seek Him in prayer both
to give thanks for our blessings as well as to seek direction and
guidance. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-24) (Luke 18:1-7) (Matthew 6:7-8)
(Luke 11:2-4)
