As
temperatures continue to increase and the humidity index level
rises, a kick- back, sluggish spirit is settling upon the saints,
which will cause many to resort to hanging out in the Garden of
the Lazy. Laziness
is a force of the flesh that stands against God and all He wants.
Days
of slothfulness could destroy all that you have achieved in times
of zealous industry. To kick back now, could negate your periods
of fervency and enthusiasm and throw you back from your advances
in the kingdom, causing you to lose all the spirituality to which
you obtained.
Don’t
allow the temperature of the summer heat, to affect your Spiritual
Climate in God. Beware of lean prayers, praise and experiences.
Continue to press in and draw fresh supplies from heaven.
If everyday you journey towards the goal of your desires you will
soon reach them. However, getting caught up in the Garden of the
Lazy; will leave you far from the prize of your high calling and
rob you of the advances, which you have labored to obtain.
To
Avoid “Spiritual” Heat Exhaustion:
Spend time with the Lord, in His service, in His company
and in His ways. Drink
plenty of water [word] and let this season be richer than the past
in love, usefulness and joy!
