I hear your Questions rising in my ears – I see your tears, I hear your prayers – I identify with your concerns as you ask me:
-
Lord, Why is it that good things happen to bad people? Lord Why is it that
bad things happen to good people?
-
Is it sin; is it your judgment, or is this a trial?
Is there a purpose and meaning in all this?
Questions aren’t bad and I don’t mind you asking WHY but it’s in your attempt to answer them that you become more perplexed, confused, and
paralyzed at the lack of adequate answers?
If you are going to ask any questions, ask yourself this:
-
Who was here first, God or Satan? God was!
God was here before Satan.
-
Ask yourself another question. Is
God your answer or your problem? God is your answer and Satan is your problem. Therefore, your answers were here long before your problems ever existed.
Take comfort in the fact that even my disciples from time to time struggled with questions. As they encountered a man blind from birth and asked, “Lord who sinned,
this man or his parents that he was born blind?" Neither "sinned" but "that the works of God should be displayed in his life." Rebekah asked "Lord, If
all is well Why am I like this?" Moses asked "Why is it you have sent me?" And my very own Son questioned me when He said “My God, My God, Why have you forsaken
me."
Are you facing challenges and problems in your life today? Are you in the midst of a struggle or conflict right now? Unsure Why you have to go through what it is that’s facing you. You don’t have to answer all
questions all the time, and I am not concerned that you know them either. Stop grabbing at straws to see where you have missed it, where you have sinned or how you might have opened the door to the enemy. You haven’t!
Receive the Word of the Lord: All things work together for good to those that are called according to my purpose. There are certain things that you will go through for one purpose and one purpose only and that is:
—“that the works of God should be displayed in your lives."
I am ready to answer your WHYS this day as I work the works of the One who sent me. Receive the meaning of life—that the works of God be displayed in your lives.
As you receive this Word, all question marks will be straightened into exclamation points, sorrow will change to singing and pain will be lost in Praise.
So
complain less & Praise Me more!
Right now, today, before the year comes to a close—lay your WHYS
before the Cross, in worship kneeling…
That the works of God should be displayed in your Life!
