In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. One of the most essential parts of a Christian’s life, for growth and
development, is having an understanding of the power of the Word of God. Everything you are about—every relationship, every role, and every assignment—is based upon the authority and truthfulness of God’s Word.
It was the WORD in which He framed the worlds and that same word which holds them in their place today. It is His WORD, in which He exalts above His name. It is His WORD sent forth to pierce the body in order to bring
forth healing. It is the WORD proclaimed that leads to repentance and changes lives. Jesus said Heaven and earth shall disappear, but the truth of My words will never be changed or abolished. My words stand sure Forever (Luke 21:33).
You are a prophet of your own future!
Our life has to be built around the fact that, daily we need to read, meditate and speak forth the Word of God transforming and forming the world we live in; for life and death are in the power of the tongue. So like David, ask the
Holy Spirit to set a guard on your mouth. What a gift to know when all else is failing around us we can rely on the Word to be a lamp unto our feet (an answer for NOW situations) and a light unto our path (a compass to direct you through your FUTURE).
