Life is like a Jig saw Puzzle: a father, reading his newspaper and wishing not to be disturbed by his daughter,
cut up a map of the world and told her to put it together. Thinking this would buy him a great deal of peace and quite, his daughter, after a short period of time, returned with every piece in its proper place.
The father asked her “How did you do that?” And she replied ‘There was a picture of Jesus on the other side, and I knew when I had Jesus in the right place the whole world would be all right.’
The picture on a box of a puzzle never looks the same when you empty all those hundreds of little pieces out on the table. The first thought that comes to mind is “this is going to take a whole lot of time, patience and
perseverance.” It may even take you longer than you expected to complete the task. But if you stick to it, as it comes together, you will get to enjoy the full picture. At times, life could
be overwhelming, but if you will learn to deal with one piece at a time, eventually you will appreciate and understand all that it holds.
The total picture will not come into view until all the pieces are in their proper place. And that is how life is. All
the pieces are there for you and as you depend upon the Holy Spirit He will give you the grace to make sure they fit in there proper place. First Peter 1 tells us that we will face manifold (many; multiple) trials and temptations but God has
supplied manifold grace in 1 Peter 4 to deal with them. He gives us just the right amount of grace to deal with every situation we face.
When Jesus is in his proper place: all the scattered pieces of your life will come together and create a beautiful picture of the plan and purpose of God for you and in you. So
when life throws you an unexpected curve and you can’t always see clearly the big picture, look to see where the face of the Jesus is in the midst of it all, and watch
“…All things work together for good to them that love God… Rom.8:28.
